Blair, Dec 26: The Police Station Campbell Bay under the Nicobar District has
been adjudged as the second best Police Stations in the entire Country and its
SHO, Inspr Vishal Ram has been awarded with the shield by the Hon'ble Union
Home Minister, Shri Rajnath Singh during the DPGs/IGPs conference held at
Kevadiya, Gujarat on 20/12/2018.
The
award is the result of continuous endeavor and planned efforts of Ms Shalini
Singh, IGP under the resolute leadership of the present Director General of
Police, Shri Depender Pathak. The Police Station is located far away from the
Headquarters and continuously confronting various challenges associated
therein. In spite of these challenges the PS & its staff has been

for the last one year in a planned approach has led to this award of being
adjudged one of the top three police stations in India. This award is a matter
of great pride for the entire Andaman & Nicobar Police and the citizens of
these Islands.
All
this has been possible because of the sincere efforts of Inspr Vishal Ram, SHO
PS Campbell Bay under the supervision & guidance of Shri Manoj C,
Superintendent of Police, Nicobar District. They have been instrumental in
achieving this rare foot which is first such instance of any Police Station in
our Islands being adjudged among one of the best in the Country.
