State level workshop on ParikshaParv 2.0 by UTCPC held

Port Blair, Jan 29: The Andaman and Nicobar State UT Committee for Protection of Child Right in association with the National Commission held a State level workshop on Jan 24, 2020. Smt. Rubina Siddique was the chief on the occasion, while Mr. Tarang Kumar Dhali, Chairman of the State Committee graced the occasion as the guest of honor. Dr. Nitlesh, Psychiatrist, Dr. Kavita Sanmugam, Psychiatrist and Swami Shudhananda Saraswati of Chinmaya Mission were present on the occasion, and spoke in detail about the mentality of students before exams and how to control their stress.
In the workshop, speakers highlighted about how the teachers' role is important to mould the children after their parents. The coordination between parents and teachers will make our children tomorrow's good citizens.
The seminar was organized for Principals and teachers of various schools across the island. Speakers on the occasion spoke about the need to motivate students to pursue studies as also sports, but not to get depressed in case of failure. "An environmentally friendly atmosphere needs to be developed for students to enable them learn and grow as responsible citizens of this country. Stress-free atmosphere should be made available for students in our schools," they said.
