Lt. Governor urges people to keep patience & cooperate
with Administration in dealing with the situation

The
A&N Administration is taking all possible measures to contain the spread of
COVID-19 in the Islands. In this connection, the Lt. Governor, Andaman &
Nicobar Islands & Vice Chairman, Islands Development Agency, Admiral D K
Joshi, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, NM, VSM (Retd.) through an audio message to the
Islanders broadcast over the AIR today, urged them to maintain their self
confidence and patience to face the challenges in this testing times. He also
called upon the people to cooperate with the Administration in dealing with the
situation.

However, the number of COVID-19 positive
cases in the Islands grew to 9 from earlier 6, by the evening of March 28,
2020.
