07 apprehended poachers tested, COVID-19 found negative in them

Car Nicobar, May 13: 07 Myanmarese were apprehended from the forests of Kakana village on 24/04/2020, soon after, the 07 Myanmarese were put under Institutional quarantine for 14 days in a govt. guest house in Kamorta with police surveillance. Later, their blood samples were collected and sent to ICMR, Dollygunj, Port Blair recently, which is today as per reports, COVID-19 test reports of all them were found negative. The Deputy Commissioner, Car Nicobar informed that, all of them will be sent to Port Blair from Kamorta for legal process.
