TMI Bureau Port Blair, June 09: In the 2nd wave of pandemic in these Islands lot of local private workers and people in general are facing trouble to meet their daily needs because of extended lockdown, and some Social Organizations, Charitable Trusts and Good Samaritans came forward once again to help the needy people in these islands. Accordingly, All India Legal Rights Organisation has distributed Ration Kits among much needed people of Haddo Ward No.2, Mithakari, Ograbranj, Tushnabad, & Chouldari which consist of Rice, 2 types of pulses, 3 types of vegetables, salt, oil, and spices etc. "Efforts are on to help as many needy people of this Islands during this Pandemic Situation" said Mr R. Vasanth, Youth Wing Secretary (AILRO). Yuva Bharat Samaj Seva Charitable Trust (YBSSCT) undertook food relief measures for widows, Street vendors, Labourers, and daily wage workers, who lost their jobs during this pandemic.
