TMI Correspondent Port Blair, July 09: The Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Anil Chauhan, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, SM, VSM as part of his two-day visit to Andaman Nicobar Command (ANC) from 09 to 10 July, 2023, today i.e. on July 09 evening he inaugurated the newly constructed Wet Basin and Refit Jetty at NSRY, Port Blair. Speaking on the inaugural function CDS said, “it is a great opportunity for me to inaugurate Wet Basin and Refit Jetty at NSRY here in A&N Islands, the ANC is an important part for our country, till now we have used for defensive facilities, but by developing this kind of facilities we would boost the refit capability of ANC in manifolds. I congratulate ANC and everyone took part in the project in completion of this work.
