TMI Bureau Port Blair, Nov 22: According to the government's commitment to the socio-economic development of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, sufficient funds were allocated by Union Minister Shri Nitin Gadkari for the development of NH-4. TMI Correspondent Port Blair, Nov 24: In a press meet at SP (CID) conference room, SP (CID), Shri Rajeev Ranjan, IPS and Shri Kumar Abhishek, Dy. SP (CID) informed that under the Nasha Mukt Bharat campaign to reduce substance abuse on 21/11/2023, acting on a specific intelligence input received from reliable source, Police team comprising of SI Parvash, Head Constable Sanjit Madhu & K. Venkateshwar Rao, Constables N. Thangaraj, Chandran, K. Rajendran, Nanak Singh and Lady Home Guard Saramma of PS CCS conducted raid at Japan Road, Dairy Farm at 10 pm and seized 4.69 grams Methamphetamine from the possession of Sathya Priyan, Pvt. Cyber Awareness Session on Artificial Intelligence; AN Police Personnel preparing to tackle ‘Deep Fake’

Port Blair, Nov 24: A&N Police organized a Cyber Awareness Session for its personnel on “Artificial Intelligence and Deep Fake”, in hybrid mode as part of the 'Cyber Guruvar' initiative on Nov 23, 2023, and will be organized every Thursday by the Cyber Cell of A&N Police. This comprehensive session, brought together A&N Police officers to gain knowledge on Artificial Intelligence and Deep Fake. CHYK have organised Inter-College Elocution Competition at Chinmaya Mission

TMI Correspondent Port Blair, Nov 22: The Chinmaya Yuva Kendra (CHYK), the Youth Wing of Chinmaya Mission, organized an Inter-College Elocution Competition on November 19, 2023, in the Mission's Auditorium. The topic for the competition was 'East of West - India is the Best.' Shri Sanjay Kumar Singh, the Adhyaksh of Zilla Parishad, South Andaman, graced the event as the Chief Guest. Dr. Utpal Sharma, the Principal of DBRAIT, was the guest of honor on the occasion. Addressing the gathering, the Chief Guest highlighted India's growth across various sectors and motivated the students to contribute their efforts toward making India a developed nation. He also expressed happiness over the participants for their research and effective delivery of the speech on the topic.
